We Aim For Quality
I took the Future Travel Nurse A-Z course and like most people just starting off I was intimidated by other classmates because of their former or current background in nursing. I don’t yet have any professional experience and I knew that going in, yet I still felt discouraged because of my lack of training. Throughout the 12 week course there was many improvements in my confidence in becoming a future nurse . Instead of being over critical of my position in life at the time, I have learned with the help of Nurse Candy and my classmates that everyone has to begin somewhere. I enjoyed how intimate each session was and felt a connection with each and every person I communicated with. I also enjoyed how much mental health was prioritized in each session. Being able to learn about topics like reaching financial freedom, work burnout, prioritizing, boundaries, etc was eye opening to someone as young as I am and has shown me different pathways and routes I can take as I go through with my journey in the medical field. My final take away from this course was really finding my why, which is one of the first topics we talked about. Through Nurse Candy and other special guests I was able to take inspiration when it came to deciding my career path. Becoming a nurse is a full time commitment and I really do believe that I wouldn’t be as motivated as I am to get into a nursing program had I not taken this course. I really am thankful to know that I will always have a mentor in my corner to support me throughout my next’s step in one day becoming the mentor!

Nurse Candy has open my mind to different avenues regarding nursing. She has helped me have a clear mind regarding different nursing schools that I can apply to. She has taught me to take care of myself so that I will be able to healthy take care of my patients when I do become a registered nurse. Nurse Candy has inspired me! I PASSED! Amazing instructor. I haven’t had a teacher like Nurse Candy ,EHA in a long time and not only was she fun at clinicals, but Nurse Candy was a very inspiring person too. From the anecdotes & experiences she shared, to the inspiration and motivation she gave us did wonders for my confidence. I have never had a teacher go around the classroom and tell us what stand out qualities they saw in us. Before I started to do my online theory modules, and at times during those modules I was stressed about lots of things for my future, but once I had felt the enthusiasm you gave our class I had finally found a reason to be optimistic. That fact that Nurse Candy was able to bring that to each class of hers day in and day out amazed me. I hope I can inspire someone one day as much as Nurse Candy inspired me. So again, I genuinely thank Empowered Health Academy from the bottom of my heart and I know God has Nurse Candy on the best path possible.

My first day going into the building i was so scared i was just thinking to myself “i cant believe im doing this it’s finally happening.” She gave me such a wonderful first experience in the healthcare field. i know many people who stepped foot into it and decided that it wasn’t right for them, but after being in this class and learning from you, i’ve never wanted to do anything more. i loved how Nurse Candy shared her knowledge with us, and her personal experiences, it made me admire her passion so much. and seeing how she took care of the residents there too, i wanna be a nurse just like Nurse Candy one day She made my flame even bigger. thank you for being our amazing and kind teacher, we all wouldn’t have made it here without you!
